I’m Louis Habberfield-Short.

I’m a mechatronics engineer and patent attorney from Auckland, New Zealand. I play a lot of laser tag and do other nerd stuff.

I decided to make this blog using Hugo because the first time I tried posting on LinkedIn I realised it has obnoxious link-shortening, a character limit that prevents me from going on verbose rants, and barely supports any kind of formatting. Also because it’s fun to write blog posts in vim.
